Hall Of Shame.US - group at My World Of Work

Hall Of Shame.US - group at My World Of Work: " there are rules, and there are exceptions to the rules. Here is one such company formally nominated to the Hall of Shame.US:

http://directlinecruises.com/

This company simply put profits before people, and when I went out of my way, to request assistance (and it was not even my money, or a cruise that I was going on) all with reasonable requests, the customer service person said that they are not "making any money" on this cruise based on the number of conversations they have notated.

When I was merely being assertive and requesting that the company "compromise on it's policy" the representative simply said, that they can't do this for everyone. Later to someone else they spoken, they even had the nerve to "call me rude" when I was politely yet assertively, requesting to speak to a supervisor. "

Small business step by step tutorials | "I've Got a Golden Ticket!": " Anything from social media tactics, video marketing, raising venture money, outsourcing, small business accounting, website creation… check out this video for more details…

My passion for business began when I was 4 years old and would walk with my father into Westwood Village to see a movie and pass by empty office buildings. I’d share with him the businesses I would start to fill those vacant offices from cartoon companies to movie reviewers to parent child relationship centers. Yes, I can’t believe these thoughts crossed my mind so young either, but I am grateful they did."

WordPress in 2012 | WooThemes

WordPress in 2012 | WooThemes: "Rails or Django aren’t languages. They’re frameworks. And PHP has similar frameworks (see Codeigniter). Thus, Django running on Python and Rails usually used with Ruby, only seem more secure because their communities of expert developers are tiny compared to the PHP world. Not enough eyeballs is what I would argue. But like I said, I do grant you that there is some overall issues with just how PHP works that lends itself to being more problematic."

Society for Humanistic Judaism - Hanukkah

Society for Humanistic Judaism - Hanukkah: "Its roots lie in the primitive winter festival of lights, Nayrot. As the days grew shorter, people feared that the sun was dying and that the world would be plunged into eternal darkness and death. In an effort to coax the sun back to life, they kindled fires at the time of the solstice. When the solstice passed, daylight increased and people rejoiced in the rejuvenation of the sun. Nayrot was a celebration of the triumph of light and life over winter's darkness and despair"

Where are they now? The Vancouver riot Kissing Couple - Puck Daddy - NHL Blog - Yahoo! Sports: " amidst the anarchy, Alex Thomas fell to the ground and was too frightened to move. It was there that Scott Jones, her Australian-born boyfriend of six months, climbed on top of her and kissed her to comfort her as riot police marched around them.
Photographer Richard Lam preserved that moment in the most iconic image from the riots, one that became an instant sensation around the world and was recently named Esquire magazine's Photo of the Year."

Gary Misner:Responsibly Being Irresponsible - HOME

Gary Misner:Responsibly Being Irresponsible  - HOME: "How did you find out about Vagabonding, and how did you find it useful before and during the trip? I first heard about Vagabonding while on a trip in Puerto Rico, I met a man who was a vagabond all his life an found him interesting. He suggested i should read it and i did, shortly after i was on my first “real” trip using references from the book along the way. Most importantly it taught me how to act, gave me an open mind to expect the unexpected.

How long were you on the road? About a year and a half on and off.

Where all did you go? Went through eastern europe, around the USA , Central America.
